I'm running low on some Greeting Card designs, so I've been thinking about which ones to reorder, redesign, and retire some designs. Some of the designs I still have have been around for over 8 years because they're slow sellers and weren't as popular as I expected, and design aesthetics have changed since then.
So the following cards are about to leave my stock, but don't worry, I'm still designing and stocking the bestsellers.
My Punny Farm Animal Collection
I loved these at the time, so I ordered loads of them, and still have loads left. They are no longer big sellers at markets and are very slow on Etsy and my website. The playful puns that felt fresh a few years back just don't resonate the way they used to, and my design style has evolved significantly since then. It's a classic case of overestimating demand for a niche concept—something I've learned from!

Christmas Minis
These were genuinely cute, and I was convinced they'd fly off the shelves. When I first ordered them, I thought the compact format would appeal to gift-givers looking for something a bit different. I still sell them as a curated trio at markets and through stockists, but individual sales have been underwhelming. Fun fact: these were actually funded through a Kickstarter campaign back in the day, so they hold a special place in my product history. However, with limited shelf space and so many stronger performers, it's time to make room for designs that customers are actually asking for.

All three designs are available to buy as singles, let me know if you are interested (I cant find the other listings)
Slow Burn Christmas Cards
The humorous alcohol-themed Christmas range has been a slow burner (pun intended). While they appealed to a specific audience, the seasonal nature combined with limited appeal means they don't justify the storage and reordering costs.
Buy my slowest moving greeting cards:
its most wonderful time for beer
GINgle bells
ho ho prosecco
no presents for you whore
You love christmas so much you shit tinsel
General Cards

This single card fall into a broader category that's become oversaturated in the market. The message feels dated now, and newer designs with more personality and edge are resonating far better with my audience.
Buy Good Vibes only Greeting Card
The silver lining?
This clearance makes space for fresh concepts and my strongest-performing designs to get the attention they deserve.
If you're interested in any of these retiring designs before they're gone, now's your chance—they'll be available at clearance prices while stocks last.
